What are the common disassembly methods for hydraulic axial piston pumps?
For hydraulic machinery workers, hydraulic axial
piston pumps may experience some malfunctions after prolonged use, requiring disassembly and maintenance. Below we will share the method of disassembling hydraulic axial piston pumps: It is important to master the disassembly method of axial piston pumps proficiently. When disassembling an axial piston pump, certain requirements need to be followed. Here, the axial piston pump manufacturer has compiled a list of common disassembly methods and steps, hoping to provide assistance for everyone to successfully complete the disassembly of the axial piston pump. The main steps are as follows:
① Turn the crosshead to the bottom dead center, then unscrew the side column nut. When tightening the chemical pump nut, use two wrenches and apply symmetrical force 180 degrees apart to prevent the side column from bending;
② Lift the upper crosshead, along with the side column and plunger, vertically upwards from the packing box;
③ Use a plunger bracket to support the lifted plunger;
④ Unscrew the connecting bolts between the upper crosshead and the plunger, and remove the side pillar, upper crosshead, plunger head, and plunger ring;
⑤ Remove the connecting bolts of the connecting rod big end, loosen the connecting rod from the crankshaft, and then lift out the crosshead and connecting rod one by one from the crankcase;
⑥ Remove the buckle and positioning pin from the crosshead pin shaft, press the crosshead pin shaft out of the crosshead, and the connecting rod can be separated from the crosshead;
⑦ Loosen the coupling connected to the gearbox, unscrew the fixing nuts of each crankshaft bearing, take out the main bearing cover, and remove the lower half of the coupling;
⑧ Remove the crankcase covers at both ends of the crankcase and lift the crankshaft axially out of the crankcase;
⑨ Remove the end cover of the cylinder block and use specialized tools such as pull rods and hooks with threaded ends to remove the valve sleeves, spring seats, springs, valve plates, etc. of the discharge valve and suction valve;
⑩ Remove the packing box from the cylinder body, remove the packing cover, packing box cover, and main packing cover, and take out the graphite ring, packing ring, liquid seal ring, and guide ring.
