How to distinguish the position, passage and connection of manual hydraulic directional valve

A、 Detailed explanation of two position four-way manual hydraulic directional valve

Two position four-way manual hydraulic directional valve is a common type of directional valve, which has two working positions and four oil ports. This directional valve can achieve multiple flow control of hydraulic oil and is widely used in various hydraulic systems. In practical applications, the position of the valve core can be changed by operating the handle, thereby altering the flow direction and pressure of hydraulic oil and achieving the purpose of controlling hydraulic equipment.

B、 Distinguishing the positions and channels of manual hydraulic directional valves

Manual hydraulic directional valve is an important component in hydraulic systems, used to control the flow of hydraulic oil. The so-called 'several positions' refer to the number of working positions of the directional valve, while' several passages' indicate the number of oil pipes connected to the directional valve.

1. Determination of "position": The "position" of the directional valve can be determined by observing the number of squares on the valve body. One square represents a working position, for example, two squares are two position valves, and three squares are three position valves.

2. Determination of "passage": The number of "passages" of the directional valve is determined by the number of vertical lines intersecting the grid. Each vertical line represents an oil outlet, so if there are several vertical lines intersecting the grid, it indicates how many valves the valve is. For example, if a square has four intersecting vertical lines, then it is a four-way valve.

C、 Connection method of manual hydraulic directional valve

The connection methods of manual hydraulic directional valves are mainly divided into three types: single circuit, double circuit, and triple circuit.

1. Single circuit connection: This is the simplest connection method, where one end of the hydraulic manual directional valve is connected to the hydraulic pump and the other end is connected to the hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor. By operating the directional valve, the flow direction of hydraulic oil can be controlled, thereby achieving the movement of hydraulic equipment.

2. Dual circuit connection: In this connection, the hydraulic manual directional valve serves as the control component for bidirectional power. The oil pipe of the hydraulic pump is connected to the P port of the directional valve, and the A and B ports of the directional valve are respectively connected to the hydraulic components that need to be controlled, achieving bidirectional control.

3. Triple circuit connection: This connection can achieve three different liquid flow modes. The oil pipe of the hydraulic pump is connected to the P port of the directional valve, the T port is connected back to the hydraulic oil tank, and the A and B ports are respectively connected to different hydraulic components to meet the requirements of complex hydraulic systems.

In general, the understanding of the distinction and connection of the positions and connections of manual hydraulic directional valves is the foundation of hydraulic system design and maintenance. The correct selection and use of directional valves are crucial for ensuring the normal operation of hydraulic systems and improving equipment efficiency.
