Double gear pump working principle and characteristics:
Gear pump is a kind of positive displacement rotary pump, its working principle is: the gear pump has a pair of mutually meshing gear, gear driving wheel fixed on the driving shaft, the shaft end of the gear pump out outside shell driven by a prime mover, another of the gear pump gear (follower) in another shaft, gear pump gear rotates, the liquid along the suction tubing into the suction space, up and down along the wall are two gear extrusion to the discharge space rendezvous (tooth and tooth meshing before), and then enter the discharge pressure tubing. The main characteristics of gear pump is compact structure, small volume, light weight, low cost. But compared with other types of pumps, low efficiency, vibration, noise and easy to wear the shortcomings.
